Q: What is a Season Pass?

A: A Season Pass entitles the purchaser to one ticket per pass for each of the productions in the season. Unlike a subscription, you are not locked in to any specific performance date or seat; you may choose any available performance and seat to suit your schedule!

Q: What are the benefits of being a Season Pass Holder?

A: In addition to saving up to 30% off regular ticket prices, Season Pass Holders are also entitled to free exchanges and discounts on the purchase of additional MainStage Season tickets. Season Pass Holders also received discounted tickets ($25) to the season's YouthStage Spotlight Show.

Q: How do I redeem Season Passes for tickets to a show?

A: Season Passes can be redeemed at the passholder’s convenience via our website or by contacting the box office at 510-845-8542, x351.

Q: If I have redeemed my passes for seats to a performance and a conflict arises, how can I exchange my tickets?

A: Simply contact the box office directly, and a ticket agent can help you to secure seats for a different performance.

Q: How close to a performance can I exchange my tickets?

A: You can exchange your tickets until 24hrs prior to your scheduled performance. Exchange requests for weekend performances must be made by 4pm on the Friday preceding. Requests made after this time cannot be guaranteed. It is not possible to exchange tickets on the day of your scheduled performance.

Q: If I do not attend one of the productions, can I use that pass for an additional ticket to a future performance?

A: Season Passes do not carry over between productions—they entitle the passholder to one ticket per production.

Q: What if I am unable to attend any of the dates of a production? Can I get a refund/credit?

A: Berkeley Playhouse is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and cannot provide refunds or credits for unused passes.

Q: What if all the remaining performances of a production I can attend are sold out?

A: It is the responsibility of the Season Pass Holder to redeem their passes in a timely fashion. Berkeley Playhouse cannot be responsible for unused passes—please redeem early!
