Producing Conservatory Director

Berkeley Playhouse seeks a Producing Conservatory Director to create and lead a multi-faceted education program that includes after-school classes and holiday camps, robust summer programming, professionally produced youth productions, a student matinee series, and community engagement initiatives. The Producing Conservatory Director will collaborate with the Founding Artistic Director to build on existing success and craft new initiatives and programming for the community.

Theatrical teaching experience, directing in a non-profit theater or education setting, strong written and verbal communication skills, and a bachelor’s degree are required. The Producing Conservatory Director is a senior level position and reports to the Founding Artistic Director. The position begins in June 2018.

Teaching Artist

Berkeley Playhouse Conservatory is seeking vibrant, inspiring, dynamic and experienced musical theatre teaching artists for after school classes and holiday camps. Applicants should have significant experience in performing as well as directing and teaching children. Classes are arranged by age and experience level; students range in ages from 2-18 and are enrolled at various levels from beginner through pre-professional. Technical Crew

Front of House Staff

We are currently accepting resumes for front of house staff positions. Responsibilities include general house management duties such as checking tickets, directing patrons to their seats, seating late patrons, and working counter service at concessions when necessary.
