Ticket Fees

There is a $3.00 Handling Fee charged per ticket. The fee applies to online, over-the-phone, and walk-up purchases. Handling fees are non-refundable. Pssst!—Season Pass holders pay no extra handling fees!

Seating

Berkeley Playhouse Professional Season productions are reserved seating. For the best seating, please purchase your tickets early. Please note, our matinees often sell out as does the center aisle seating for most performances. KidStage and TeenStage productions are general admission seating.

Late Seating

Late patrons will be seated at the House Manager's discretion. Patrons who arrive late will be asked to wait for an appropriate break in the performance's action. Additionally, there is no reserved seating for late patrons. The House Manager will assign a seat that will allow for the least amount of disruption to the performance. Patrons can move to their reserved seat at intermission of the performance.

Young Children Attendance Policy

Out of respect for our patrons and performers, children 3 years of age and under will not be admitted.

Refunds and Exchanges

Berkeley Playhouse is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and cannot provide refunds. If you are unable to attend a scheduled performance, consider exchanging your ticket.

To make any exchanges, please call the Box Office at (510) 845-8542 x351 Monday-Friday, 11:00am-4:00pm.

For Single Tickets: You may only exchange for another performance of the same production. An Exchange Fee of $10.00 will be charged per order, in addition to any additional ticket cost.

Season Pass Holders: Free exchanges! Please call the Box Office before your performance. Exchanges for Saturday or Sunday performances must be made by 4pm the Friday before the show.

Youth Production Tickets: For our KidStage and TeenStage productions, there is a $5 exchange fee per order. In the event you are unable to exchange your performance, and you provide us with at least one business day's notice, we will credit your ticket towards a tax deductible donation. We cannot provide you with a tax deduction if you attempt to return your ticket the day of or after your performance date. Tax deductions are non-transferable.
