Imagination Players

Imagination Players is our audition-based youth company (grades 3-7) producing full-length productions three times a year. During the rehearsal process, company members collaborate with each other and the artistic staff to create their final show. Our Imagination Players Company Members:
  • Train with professional Bay Area Directors, Musicians, Vocal Coaches and Choreographers
  • Perform on the Main Stage with professionally designed lights, sound, sets, costumes, and more
  • Perform as part of the ensemble and in a featured role

Teen Stage

Teen Stage is our audition-based teen company (grades 8-12) producing full-length productions three times a year. Teen Stage features both musicals and straight plays, and is known for tackling contemporary, challenging pieces such as Rent, Carrie the Musical, and The Laramie Project.

Teen Stage Company Members:
  • Train with professional Bay Area Directors, Musicians, Vocal Coaches and Choreographers
  • Perform on the Main Stage with professionally designed lights, sound, sets, costumes, and more

How do I become an Imagination Players or Teen Stage company member?

Actors are admitted to these programs by audition. Generally, students admitted have taken our Performance Core class, OR have other considerable experience in acting, singing, and dance Please see our auditions page for current opportunities.

Once an actor participates in an Imagination Players or Teen Stage production they do not need to audition for admittance to future production, so long as they remain in good standing with the program. Auditions are for admittance into the program, not for specific roles. Auditions for specific roles occur the first few weeks of rehearsals.
